American Society of Canine Trainers International Basic Handler School taught by Nine Realms/Instructor Karin Wagemann. ASCT Basic Handler Schools are rigourous in all aspects. Handlers and students are taught and certified by an ASCT certified Instructor.
Dual purpose basic handler class including tracking, detection, and apprehension. Open to LE, SAR, private, and civilians. School ready dog for tracking/narcotics detection for LE, SAR, or private work. Contact to see if the dog is a fit for your needs.
Cost with a dog: $2665 (includes first year ASCT certifcation cost)- 2 more spots open. Dogs already owned by handless that have the traits for this work are welcome. Fully trained tracking, narcotics detection canine available to be paired with a handler during the school. Contact to see if the dog is a fit for your department/organization.
Cost without a dog: $1500 (ASCT Member but not certified)- 3 more spots open. Those attending without a dog will have the opportunity to work various dogs in training with Nine Realms.
Individuals may drop in for a day or more of training with or without a dog. Cost with a dog is $150/day. Cost without a dog is $100/day. This is not available on every school day.
Previous and current handlers may drop in during the school at a cost of $25 to use the training areas or $50 for one on one instruction.
