How Much are your Puppies?

Puppies range in price from $2000-$2500 depending on the titles on the dam and sire. This is for limited registration. There is no extra cost for full registration, but owners must meet the requirements for breeding rights.

Do you Give Breeding Rights?

I sell all puppies on limited registration. To attain breeding rights owners must hip/elbow check their dog and have a passing score. They must also test for DM and breed to an appropriate dog based on the result. I also require puppies to be titled in order to release breeding rights. My goal is to preserve the workability of the german shepherd, not to produce low drive pets.

Do you Require a Deposit?

Starting Fall 2024: A $100 deposit to hold your spot on the waitlist for a Nine Realms’ pup is required. You must fill out an application first, if it looks good and you want to get a puppy from Nine Realms GSD then $100 to be put on the waitlist will be required. Once the litter you are wanting a pup from is born, $400 deposit is required to hold your place in that litter. If there are no puppies that suit your needs in that litter, we will refund the deposit or transfer to another litter. Should you decide you do not want a pup after the $100 or $400 deposit, neither deposit is refundable.

What Steps do I Take to Get a Puppy?

All prospective puppy buyers must email karinwagemannk9@gmail.com if they are interested in a puppy from us. We require an application to be filled out to ensure we can match the right pup to you. No application, no pup. After the application, if we feel you are a good fit for the litter/pup, you may place a deposit on a pup.

Do I Get to Pick My Puppy?

Generally, no, but you get to have a say in what you want in a puppy/dog. All puppies are temperament tested at 7wks of age. Based on what each new puppy owner is looking for, puppies are then matched based on personality, testing, and owner needs. Temperament comes first, then gender, then color. We do take into account owner preference but will not match puppies to owners if it is not a good match for either. In my experience, new owners do not have the knowledge to pick the best puppy for them as they have not lived with the litter for 8wks.

What Sets You Appart from Other Local Breeders?

Many local breeders, not all, do not title and actively work their breeding dogs. All our breeding dogs have titles and are actively working and training. We breed with the intent to produce dogs with drive and ability to work, not low drive, watered down GSDs. At the same time, we will not make claims that one puppy or another will be more than it is. We are honest about what we produce and will not make claims we cannot back up.

Will you Take Puppies/Dogs Back?

Yes. Should owners no longer want their pups/adult dogs, we will always take them back. No monetary refund will be given.

What are Your Puppies Suited For?

Our puppies are suited for a variety of work. At Nine Realms Working German Shepherds, we believe the German Shepherd is the jack of all trades, as the creator of the breed did as well. Dogs from Nine Realms are suited for Patrol Dogs for Law Enforcement, Personal Protection Dogs, Tracking and Search and Rescue Dogs, Detection Dogs, Protection Sports, Service Work, and active pets. Past puppies are in training as police dogs, service dogs, sport dogs, and active pets. Our sires and dams do the work we claim our pups can do, and our puppies from each litter show this as well.

What do Puppies Go Home With?

Puppies are dewormed at 2wks, 4wks, 6wks, and 8wks. They will have their first round of vaccinations/DHPP at 7wks old. They will be microchiped. Puppies go home with limited AKC registration papers, a small bag of Inukshuk 26/16 food, a small puppy toy and ball, and puppy collar.
