Nine Realms Canine Training focuses on raising, training, and selling fully trained working canines for Law Enforcement. Unlike most large scale kennels, Nine Realms focuses on several dogs at a time, giving each dog more one on one training so that they may develop into superb working canines. The Nine Realms’ canines are all over the world, some in Nevada, Washington, Virginia, and Tanzania. Head Trainer Karin Wagemann is experienced raising puppies, selecting green dogs, or rescue dogs, and training them for police work. The majority of Nine Realms’ canines are dual purpose patrol canines but we can easily train single purpose detection (narcotics, explosives, HRD, etc.) or tracking only canines. All canines are trained and certified to the American Society of Canine Trainers standards; canines can be dual certified in multiple organizations or agencies. If you are in need of a new working canine for your agency please check out the dogs for sale page or call/email for more information.
Newt is a dual purpose patrol canine serving in Elko, NV with Evka. Newt came to me at 8 months old, a scrawny pup with good potential. He already knew how to bite and took to narcotics detection quickly. From day one he was a crazy, wild, silly, but affectionate dog, and remains so to this day. Newt was the hardest dog to teach tracking, to date, and came close to being placed as a single purpose detection/patrol dog. With age and constant training he pulled through and has turned into a wonderful tracker.
Evka is a small female Malinois that is serving as a dual purpose patrol dog in Elko, NV with Newt. Although she weighs only 45-50 pounds she hits and bites incredibly dog. Evka was a joy to train as she was a natural tracker and incredibly sweet. She loves new people and gives lots of affection, but will turn on the aggression when needed.
